Prior flying experience is good, but the military will provide all the needed training.  The important things are to get your degree, get your commission from the military, and get a pilot slot.

A degree is the first step. Passing the military training is the second step. Your skills, health, and other aptitude tests are another. It's intense training and screening with intense competition. Having previous flight experience will not necessarily be a huge factor in you being chosen to become a fighter pilot.

You have to pass the preliminary exam at first to get entry for the pilot training. Then your height, weight, power will check. If you qualify all the necessity criteria, you will be able to get training. If you have any previous training it will be treated as your extra activity.
