    Usually, turboprob engines has torque limits and over torque should not happen. When it does happens, that shows torque limit fails, and the most likely consequence is auto-feathering and engine shutoff. When feathering, there should be a light flashing or on indicating feathering. all these depends on the plane manufacturers and the configuration
