http://www.jets.dk/cs/forums/28/ShowForum.aspxFind / Post a job.en-USCommunityServer 2.0 (Build: 60526.2668)http://www.jets.dk/cs/forums/thread/12833.aspxMon, 13 Jan 2014 22:50:05 GMTa23efcf1-9e75-4ff9-be18-cd9cb68b9485:12833NAA0http://www.jets.dk/cs/forums/thread/12833.aspxhttp://www.jets.dk/cs/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=28&PostID=12833Positions Available in the Clearwater area <br /> <br />* Benefits available, including paid holidays and vacation, sick time, 401k plan * Supplied Uniforms <br /> <br />Objective: Provide flight training to National Aviation Academy customers in the safest manner while adhering to all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and National Aviation Academy Operations Manuals. <br /> <br />Essential Functions: * Assist in Curriculum development * Provide professional ground and flight instruction to National Aviation Academy customers that meet Academy standards. * Conduct maintenance test flights as well as demonstration flights, as required * Maintain accurate Academy training records and report to their assigned supervisor * Maintain the highest level of safety at all times * Manage student workload appropriately and maintain superior customer service * Ensure student training records are complete, accurate and up to date * Conduct instruction using only National Aviation Academy and FAA approved training material. * Discuss all training plans with customers prior to performing services. * Periodically act as Supervisor of Flight to ensure aircraft are tied down and to provide flight following service when Dispatch staff complete their duty time * Periodically teach ground school lessons <br /> <br />Required Skills: <br />- The ability to develop ground school curriculums. <br />- The Ability to maintain an organized work area. <br />- Possesses strong oral communication skills. <br />- Works independently with little direct supervision. <br />- Works as part of a team. <br />- Accepts responsibility and is self-motivated. <br />- Demonstrates strong work ethic to achieve academy goals. <br />- Displays effective multi-tasking and time management skills. <br />- Utilizes all required and recommended National Aviation Academy computer applications Strong Microsoft Office skills <br /> <br />Required Education / Experience / Certifications: <br />Hold a current FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot. Certificate Hold a current FAA Flight Instructor Certificate, with Single and Multi-Engine, and Instrument Ratings Hold a current FAA Class 2 Medical Certificate or higher <br /> <br />This is an hourly full time position.
