Pilots Needed for Study on Meteorological Weather Displays

Georgia Tech is seeking pilots to volunteer for a study examining how meteorological information displays affect pilot weather decision-making. Licensed pilots and currently enrolled student pilots who are at least 18 years of age and live in the US are eligible to participate.
As you know, adverse weather conditions in aviation can lead to delays, deviations, and even accidents. As a result, the Georgia Institute of Technology is conducting a study on how different weather display technology influences pilot decision-making.
As a participant in this study, you will be asked to complete an online demographics questionnaire regarding your flight experience, ratings, and other items. Following the demographic questionnaire, the participant pilots will be asked to evaluate various weather scenarios. The study will take roughly 1-hours to complete, and the participants will have to evaluate 30 weather situations. We hope that you will consider participating and assisting us in learning more about weather display technology. Participation will assist us in learning more about weather display technologies with the goal of improving aviation safety. The supported internet browsers are Chrome 4.0 or higher, and Firefox 4.0 or higher. In addition, JavaScript must be enabled. We recommend using a laptop or a desktop. If you work at a secure government facility, you may need to use a personal device due to security constraints.

I'm a retired USAF loadmaster and Rail Road conductor looking for pilots and avid aviation enthusiat to build model displays for! I'm a avid model builder but have no place to keep or display them, so for years I've built for several collectors. I've done well competting in local and national contest. I also have several articals and models on some of the leading modeling web sites. Just thought I'd try this forum to contact folks out there that would be intrested in a detailed display, either a personel or just a favorite airframe. Hello. I'm currently working my way through highschool, getting A's and B's in every class thus far. I've had a dream of flying fighters in the USAF for several years, and prior to that it was helicopters. Anyway, I wanted to look for some advice, info, or anything that could help me achieve my goal by posting this thread.

Currently, I am in high school. I plan to graduate with a high 3-point something grade average (Currently a 3.4 or so? Probably a bit higher.). I hope to get a degree in Aerospace engineering, take part in AFROTC in my university, and do better there than in HS. I want to become a fighter pilot (F22 is the dream, but F35, F16, or even F15 are all fine with me [I just want to get there]). I've recently purchased the 'ASVAB for dummies' book, and I have 20/20 vision. I was hoping that someone experienced with USAF Fighter Piloting as well as this forum could help me out. Thanks.

OK guy I expect this is going to be a beating...lol
I'm a newbie here I'm John from Dallas Texas, been in the telecommunications world for 22+ years and and currently unemployed after 17 yrs with the company. I'm 51 and want to change professions. I'd like to work on electronics and navigation equipment on aircraft...not necessarly a bench tech but I'll keep the idea open. What do I need to do to get my foot in the door here guys? And what schooling should I look at. I'm not really looking a being a mechanic but the Electronic nut on board....grin. Thanks for your input gents and happy New Year!
