The safety systems, stability, comfort and other things are very hard to master.
Boeing 747 is a subsonic plane so that you don't study very advanced aerodinamics and the F16 is a supersonic fighter where the most importants concepts of design is advanced aerod. and other things like maneuvrability, etc...
TIGER

[Cool! You have chosen a very interesting pair of aircraft. The F-16, light and nimble, the boeing 747, big, cumbersome and slow. But why not choose 2 fighters? Are you comparing them in some ways, like the fly-by-wire system?

Rapier]

Re:Julian

*** Posted by Rapier ***
[Hi Rapier
In about 3 years I'll have to choose 2 aircraft(military and civilian) for my project.
