The performance of the MiG-29 is better &amp; the russians have some missiles which have great capabilities in a close combat environment. A big disadvantage of the MiG-29 is the large fuel consumption which reduces the combat radius. <br /> <br />I personally prefer the f16 because of its better avionics.
