Cathay Pacific to sell Jubilee 2003 (a musical stage drama) tickets on board.

http://www.cathaypacific.com/hk/aboutus/press/0,1595,41097-84435,00.html

This is the first time for Hong Kong carriers to sell show tickets on board.

How diverse the types of on-board shopping items can be now. You can buy a Nokia phone from SAS international lines, as well as Sunkist oranges on United flights on routes to Japan.

(P. S. Why SAS of Denmark, Norway and Sweden sells Nokia of Finland instead of Ericsson of Sweden? Why Nokia does not select Finnair to sell its phones?)

2. Cathay Pacific not to lodge objection to Dragonair application

http://www.cathaypacific.com/hk/aboutus/press/0,1595,41097-84434,00.html

Cathay Pacific said it would not object Dragonair's opening of routes to Manila, Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok and Sydney. It also said the competition is healthy for the industry.

If Dragonair's plan is successful, then Dragonair would be the 1st time to operate routes of over 5 hours flight time.

And Dragonair would not be successful on long haul service market if its inflight service is not improved, which has 6-abreast First Class, 7-abreast Business Class on A330, having no TV at all.

And if Dragonair inflight service is improved to Cathay Pacific level, then it would provide the best service to China routes.
