Am I on the right track?

Hello. I'm almost done with my junior year in high school, and I've just recently been interested in wanting to go to USAFA. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I'm on the right track. I'm getting ready to take the ACT on April 12, and the SAT on May 3. I've already taken the SAT once, and bombed it completly. I got a total score of 1350. I know that's really low but I'm working on it. I've got a lot of other things to offer though. I just wanted to know with high ACT score would I be qualified to go into USAFA?

Re: Am I on the right track?

Admissions are based on a "Whole Candidate Score."  The score is based on 60% academics, with the rest going to extracurriculars, and an interview, if I recall correctly.  There are certain minimums (found at www.academyadmissions.com ), but it is the WCS that determines who is offered an appointment first.
