I recently was told at my officer's interview that because my score for Navigator was not competitive enough, ( I got a 53 Nav and 79 pilot, and a PCSM score of 96) that it was not possible to get a pilot slot. Now I have to put ABM as my first choice and Pilot as my second incase of a miricale. My question to any military pilots out there is this; Did they mislead me about my chances to get pilot to get me to do ABM? And if not, how good are the chances to cross train from ABM to pilot if their are openings?
