    EGRESS MECHANIC

    MAINTANENCE OF:
    -Aircraft ejection seats
    -Aircraft air conditioning systems
    -Canopy systems & jettison/fracturing systems
    -Fire warning/extinguishing systems
    -OBOGS repair/troubleshooting
    -Radar Liquid Cooling System servicing
    -Aircraft environmental systems maintenance & aircraft pressurization systems.

    INSPECT, MAINTAIN OPERATE, TEST AND/OR REPAIR:
    -Parachutes
    -Seat pans
    -Survival equipment
    -Flight protective equipment and clothing
    -Pack and rig parachutes
    -Pack and equip life rafts
    -Oxygenregulators and Liquid Oxygen (LOX) converters
    -Carbon dioxide transfer and recharge equipment
    -Sewing machines

    Requires at least 5 years of USN/USMC/USCG Organizational Level NAMP aircraft maintenance
    support experience.

    At lesat 3 years specific VX-31 T/M/S aircraft hired to maintain (preferably within the last 2 years)

    Completion of the appropriate T/M/S Navy Egress Class "C" school

    High School Graduate

    Active Secret Clerance or ability to obtain.
