I have applied for a job with the IRS as a secretary, and have been told that I will need to give fingerprints and have a background check done. The job listing does not say anything about drug testing like some other listings do, and I have found some info on the web saying that IRS only does pre-employment testing for certain jobs, not for all jobs. Can anyone tell me what I should expect if I get offered the secretary job?

Normally in the aviation business when you are looking for pilot jobs, if you don't get an answer within 10 days you may consider it a no.
